Saubhagya Yojana 2026 –

The eligibility section says a family must not already have a connection, but doesn’t explain what happens if a household had one disconnected years ago or if the meter was removed. That gap matters for people filling the form. A practical step: before applying, visit the local electricity office and ask them to check your name against their pending and rejected connection list, and get the application receipt number written on paper. That receipt is what you can quote later if the online form status shows nothing.
